the hope of becoming a police officer. After graduating from the police
academy, Mr. Edgett realized that while his position could help many people,

He attended Nova Southeastern University and earned his degree in criminal
justice and political science, the moved to Florida to get his Juris Doctor.
While he was at law school, Scott was a law clerk in Broward County, Florida
for the Honorable Patti Englander-Henning of the 17th judicial circuit.
He simultaneously worked full time at a distinguished law firm in Fort
Lauderdale. In only 2 ½ years, Scott graduated law school.
